Chete Safari Area - Hunting Success Rates

Situated on the shores of Lake Kariba between the Senkwe and Muenda rivers lies the government controlled hunting area known as the Chete Safari Area. One of Zimbabwe's wildest and most rugged concessions the Chete Safari Area forms an integral part of HHK Safaris operation. Lake Kariba offers superb hippo and crocodile hunting and the rugged hinterland is thick with buffalo, leopard, elephant and other plainsgame.

The rugged, hilly country has meant that the area has not been well developed in terms of roads and the hunter must be prepared to walk in order to fully appreciate what the area has to offer.

In addition to the hunting the Lake is famous for its fishing, and HHK Safaris offers its clients the opportunity to make use of the tender fishing boats to take time off and try for the famous tiger fish.
