Sijarira Lodge

Sijarira is a fully catered lodge with its own personal stretch of private beach, panoramic views of Lake Kariba, and breath taking sunsets. The lodge's seclusion affords you a peaceful, tranquil and quiet atmosphere in which you can relax in a blend of luxury and wilderness, whilst being waited on by our experienced staff.

The Sijarira dining, bar and pool areas, should you choose, are where you'll wrap up each day with skillfully prepared meals made with the freshest ingredients. The open bar next to the pool is stocked with ice cold beer or your favourite evening drink, served with snacks, a back drop of the lake and a friendly smile.

Each of the eight double chalets offers luxury, year round comfort and your own sweeping views of the lake from your very own balcony. As well as two queen sized beds, private en-suite bathing and toilet facilities with hot and cold running water, dressing table, lightng and overhead fans, coupled with a cool breeze off the lake, assure you a good nights sleep.

Angling in the waters around Sijarira provides some of the most explosive "Tiger Strikes" or "tranquil bream" fishing kariba has to offer. With tiger common in the 3kg to 7kg range, and the productive bream holes that abound in this areas of the lake, what are you waiting for?

Set in the heart of big game country, guests are offered a number of daily excursions, including: game walks or drives, bird watching, fishing, sundowner cruises or just relaxing at the lodge. You also have the option of bringing in your own boat(s) via road through Bulawayo and Binga.
