Professional Hunter's Profiles: George Hallamore
![]() Born and bred in Zimbabwe, George was educated at Plumtree High School. His father, Lou Hallamore, has been a professional hunter all his life, and George, like his brother Clive, was introduced to hunting at the early age of nine; evident in family hunting photographs. George's apprentice years began with Mike Fynn at Ngamo Safaris in 1991, and in the last decade he has worked with Don Price of Southern Quest Safaris as well as HHK Safaris. Being a 'cat' man like his father, George's best hunt is for leopard, but his favourite hunt is for elephant. George is a member of the Zimbabwe Professional Hunters and Guides Association and is now a freelance Professional Hunter, with the majority of his hunting trips being carried out with HHK Safaris' clients. |
