Omay Safari AreaLion Hunting Again, similarly to Chirisa with such a large and stable population of buffalo and zebra, it is natural that Omay has a healthy lion population. The success rate on lion hunts is in excess of 75%. The Omay does not produce exceptional maned lions as the thick bush takes its' toll on the lions' manes. However more than respectable lions are shot in the area each year.
