Omay Safari Area - Hunting Success Rates

Situated in north central Zimbabwe, along the shores of Lake Kariba between the Ume River in the East and the Sengwa River in the West, the Omay Communal land hunting concessions encompasses some 2,000,000 acres of magnificent wilderness, offering superb dangerous game hunting for the big four as well as hippo and crocodile. The Matusadona National Park also makes up a considerable portion of the Omay's boundary in the East and a portion of it's northern boundary.

The Zambezi Valley escarpment provides scenic lookouts, riverine valleys and the daunting jesse bush which provides a regular haunt for dagga boys. The Omay is well renowned for its big buffalo and excellent success rate on leopard.
