Dande South Area
Dande South is a CAMPFIRE (Communal Area Management Project For Indigenous Resources)
hunting area and is bordered in the west by the Chewore Safari Area; the south by the Doma Safari
Area; the east by the country of Mozambique and the north by the Dande Safari Area. The area
comprises 400 000 ha of mainly hilly and mountainous terrain with many streams and river beds
running from the escarpment. Situated in the famous Lower Zambezi Valley, the vegation is a
mixture of Miombo Woodland, Mopane forest and Jessi Bushveld. Dande offers 1 luxury Main
Safari Camp consisting of 3 A-frame, thatched chalets. There is also a seasonal tented fly camp on
the Angwa River. The area is famous for Buffalo and (successful) Leopard Safaris while early
season Elephant hunting can be challenging.

Buffalo, Baboon, Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Zebra, Eland, Impala, Warthog,
Giraffe, Hyena, Small cats, Kudu , Klipspringer etc.
