Deka Safari Area

Is situated in North western Zimbabwe and borders the famous Hwange National Park. It is part of

the biggest wilderness area of Zimbabwe (Hwange/ Matetsi / Ngamo / Vicfalls) and the Kwango

Trans frontier Bio/Hub-. Deka Safari Area is included in the intensive protection zone which

protects a population of black Rhino. The area covers approximately 50 000 hectares, comprising

mainly hilly Terrain with Mopane, Teak forest and some jesse-bush vegetation. Deka Pool offers a

luxury tented safari camp which is situated above the Deka River giving a superb view over the

concession.
