START PLANNING FOR YOUR HUNT

ANTI-POACHING

HHK Safaris implements and funds anti-poaching initiatives throughout our Safari Concessions. Illegal hunting is rife in Zimbabwe and a percentage of the funds from Trophy Hunting go towards managing the situation on ground. Our anti-poaching units consist of qualified rangers kitted with the relevant gear and vehicles for patrol.

HOW HUNTING GIVES BACK TO ZIMBABWE

AID FOR COMMUNITIES

A portion of Trophy Hunting revenue goes to the Council of areas within Rural District Councils (RDC's). This money goes towards building up rural communities and supporting locals. The meat harvested from hunting is distributed between Wards within the area which aids with food security.

AID FOR CONSERVATION

Hunting revenue goes back into Conservation of the Safari areas in RDC's and National Parks. This money aids with keeping the area safe, clean and preserving the fauna and flora altogether.

Hunting in Zimbabwe is on a sustainable use basis with quotas issued for each concession. Quotas for protected species such as elephant, leopard, and crocodile are granted by CITES annually.
