
MAKUTI
Makuti is located within the Hurungwe Safari Area, a vast and ecologically rich region that stretches eastward from Kariba town, following the Zambezi River, through Chirundu, and up to the boundary of Mana Pools National Park.
This prime safari territory is bordered by the Zambezi River to the north and the Zambezi Escarpment to the south, offering diverse terrain and excellent opportunities for game viewing, hunting, and conservation efforts.

HURUNGWE SAFARI AREA
Makuti is a small but vibrant settlement located in northern Zimbabwe, serving as the key access point to the expansive and ecologically diverse Hurungwe Safari Area. Situated along the main highway between Harare and Kariba, Makuti acts as a convenient base for safari-goers seeking authentic wildlife experiences in a pristine wilderness.

MAKUTI SAFARI CAMP
The camp comfortably sleeps 6 clients with guides or up to 8 clients without guides.
Each tent is set on a flat concrete platform and includes an en-suite bathroom, ensuring both comfort and privacy. Guests enjoy hot and cold running water throughout the camp, and all facilities are equipped with modern flushing toilets.
At the heart of the camp is a communal dining and lounge area, housed under a spacious thatched rondavel, offering a relaxed setting to unwind, share stories, and enjoy meals overlooking the bush.
