CHARARA

CHARARA SAFARI AREA

Located in the northern region of Zimbabwe, the Charara Safari Area spans approximately 1,700 square kilometers along the eastern shore of Lake Kariba. This vast and scenic concession is characterized by extensive Mopane woodlands, providing ideal habitat for a wide variety of wildlife species and offering exceptional opportunities for both hunting and photographic safaris.

CHARARA FLY CAMP

Charara Fly Camp offers an intimate and comfortable bush experience, accommodating up to 6 clients in 3 congenial safari tents. Each tent is equipped with ensuite bathrooms, providing hot and cold running water as well as flushing toilets, ensuring guests enjoy comfort even in this remote setting.

A communal dining and sitting area is centrally located within the fly camp, offering a relaxed and social atmosphere for meals and evening gatherings. Designed to blend into its natural surroundings, the camp delivers an authentic safari feel while maintaining the essential comforts of home.

TRAVEL DETAILS

Charara can be accessed through Kariba Airport for air transfer which is a forty five minute flight from Harare or by road transfer which is approximately a five and a half hour drive.
